Insomnicide

By Liath

The days get shorter
And my nights torturously longer
Insomnia suicide, I'm on the border
The meaning of love I'm left to ponder

From the dawn's early light
I yearn from the twilight's last gleaming
And in my head rages a fight
The storm enrages and now I'm screaming

Now the nightmares start
As the back cover of my story book closes
I'm shot in the neck with a no-sleep dart
As everyone around me doses
