Clichéd Thought

By Mistress Shadow

Silently her tears fell, as if each one was a high-toned note pressed from a piano key.
She drove her head down in her sobbing state, perhaps to save herself from the outside world.
She thought to herself, "a world I never truly knew." Her sobs became more chaotic, as if the pianist had lost his tempo with his tune. Thoughts and hopes scurried past her, each one in turn kicking her, and spitting on her for their being summoned. "What do I do, what can I do?" tossed back and forth in her mind teasing her emotions making her cries husky and cracked. Finally amidst all the pain and battered emotions she cried out with every inch of strength she could muster; "WHY!"

“What do I do, what can I do?” very well put. the hopelessness of not being able to do anything is horrible. A_C
