To Walk Upon An Aboretum
By XCryingMinotaurX
Trees
a safe haven
Free
they live to grow
Cold
but we walk none-the-less
Shudder
you look upon me and smile
Trees
a secret shrine
Found
feet in mud and resin hands
Time
passing and we feel the pull
Collide
purposely but gently
Trees
assorted beauty ageless girth
Said
eye contact followed by a sly smirk
Compliment
ignored visually but heart beats faster
Scared
of falling for the same trap
Trees
barren and dull
Sing
between the wisps of air and falling leaves
Touch
warm and soft and all too iniviting
Fading
drug induced fancy and aching for your sins
Trees
symbols of fertilty
Procreate
feeling desire and destruction
Thirst
drink his insides dry
Hunger
devour him completely
Trees
shedding skin in their sanctuary
Messiah
I wash your feet with my hair
Breathing
I hear your voice and demand you stand tall
To walk upon an Aboretum
under the trees where I justified my love for you
