Dreamcatcher

By sweetambrosia

Feathers hanging down
from a spider web
woven intricately to
capture invading insects,
allowing cool breezes and
moonbeam dreams to filter
through.
Standing ever watchful
guard over innocence
slumbering.
Dawn erupts, dispelling all
shadows.

I do not see a new beginning as much as I wonder... Can you, like a spider, drain the energy of what gets caught and use it to your advantage?

this spider seems to be on guard , not allowing the bad stuff to pass ... thus the dreams , and the breeze flow through --- he is there for the benefit of the innocents

A new beginning is what I got from this...But unfortunately darkness falls again...but very good, and the imagery is perfect...-Mike
