Within Death, Loves a Martyr
By XCryingMinotaurX
tempting fate
with papercut thoughts
and razorblade emotions
falling face first
just to taste his perfections
fallacy follows me on the wind
manifesting contemplations
running from his masochistic glare
just to slip on my sadistic tears
id gladly give up the ghost
to martyr for his salvation
eyes wide to sell the constellations
trailing in line for his rhyme and reason
buried dreams
dying into the future
hope haults to dance in my shadow
only to falter at the sight of my temptation
darkness through the window paine
always ending up on my knees
praying til my fucking knuckles bleed
and still no closer to God
trembling to the beat of the grave
looking to side-swipe a gleam of love
lust pouring from veins like blood
spilling onto the seduction of a professor
never ending pale skin flourishes
under the heat of death and flame
burning bright into the night
and sleeping for damnation
awaking to the beautiful words of the terribly insane
waiting for brown eyes to show change
but instead laying down upon pillows of pine
and loving the bane of my existence.
