Anguished Unmaking

Angels fell from the sky
like tears from a distant god,

Tumbling through the frosty air
and righting themselves

Gliding in tandem with the
Frozen flakes of sky-

Lunatic oppressors look up to them,
Wearisome rulers lament their descent,

Melting as they fall from the cold heavens,
Blasphemy overtaking their delicate forms

The Warmonger seeks their blessing in didtant peaks-
The fool sings of their glory

As
They
Burn
In
The
Fall

Pain becomes a harvest-
the masquerade a shelter.

The uncivilized and abraisive begin the hunt
to catch them as they fall

The Apprentice and The Abstract 
Yearn to win the prize instead

And yet, as their descent became reachable,
Wrath and Hate erupted from the earth,

And rose as a mountain to reach them.

Skeletal hands reaching,
Withering eyes Greeding

One, a Champion of the Opressors

Another, Given flight by the Arcane

One died to the common folk-

And more are lost to shadows of the mind.

And by tokens of the same fate,
We lost ourselves to an 

ANGUISHED UNMAKING
