Echoes of Night

By themasterhunter

A garden?

By the River?

Beyond the daybreak?

Who would do such a thing?

Some horrible godless wretch?

And what grows in her garden then?

Careful, there.

You need moonlight.

I don't want wilting.

I want you to flourish.

A beauty of the moonlight.

Softly glows in moonlit waters.

Reflection!

Music of spheres!

Symphony in night!

Goddess of the waters!

She captures our love and life!

And gives it back on sleepless nights!

Don't let her-

She's escaping-

Destroy her flowers-

Let the new moon weep for-

The dawn approaches to cleanse-

Will her garden burn in the sun-
