Demons

By Sudos

Too late, I face,
Demons; I wait,
To be... To place,
My face closer,
To the abyss.

Haunting - always.
My fate - crawling.
You wait - I take,
My place in all ways.
Enthralling mistakes,
Led me, I'm too late.

So true, getting through if it's written right.
So you go and do if it's written, right?
I write...

My living dead insides.

The last thing you tried to hide,
Is why we can't even try.
You said but a word...
Now I know why,
You divide all your time,
Since the beginning;
No reason to lie.
The only thing that I,
Take away in your deception;
A broken mind,
A reason not to trust...
And nothing but restlessness.
Left behind, I will never find,
Any measure of peace inside.
Left with my demon's hate tonight.

There was never a good reason to try.

So true, getting through if it's written, right?
So you go and do if it's written, right.
I write...

Too late, I face,
Demons, I wait,
To be, to place,
My face closer,
To the abyss.

Haunting - always.
My fate - crawling.
I wait...
You take your place;
In all ways.
Embalmed mistakes,
Decorate your path to obscurity;
Still yet I own your game.

Get a grip.
Peace.

    Nice word choice. I enjoyed this because of its original rhythm and meter. Thank you for sharing. :)

    This is a super write! The wordplay is fantastic! Am I so far gone that it's too late ? I've lost my way can I find my way again? Is there hope for me? Very well done!
