Ambiviphant
By Lady Grinning Soul
Like children we fight
Against the
Unknown.
Against the what ifs,
and the hands of time.
And like children, we squabble.
We bicker.
We poison
All the light
Until charcoal black rainclouds remain.
We weren’t destined for
Anything great.
Out kind ruins even the simplest of things.
We create
Waves
That ripple through the world,
Disastrous waves that
Swallow swatches of precious
Things
Whole.
And we do this without a second thought.
Or a thought that is
Two minutes too late.
We are harbingers of hate-
Of anger
Of jealousy.
Self-destructionists to everything.
The trigger is pulled.

You are wise beyond your years, and I don't even know how old you are. This was a great piece.
