Whispers of Rain

By Mona

Everlastingly white, pearlescent and fair to its sight
Invisible, enthroned in a shimmering circle of light
Tortured by Rome, dripped in the waters of a tomb,
But who shall they call whom? She is all but one
She is the alpha omega and the mother of the sun
Whispers of rain and snow, happiness and shelter
Whispers of rain and sunlight, songs of joy forever
beside the dark world, the light of justice shines
Secrets hidden behind the mountaintops of splendor
of our Golden God who with all knowing eyes
Can reign as master and leader, heart lover and mind charmer
In the feilds of poppies and the black eyes of history
Everlastingly white, pearls of heavenly glade
Moonlight full of snow, holiest glow of fairy might
Invisible and dark, green and obscure, dragon of mystery
Come feed the lions in the dens, open the gates of heaven
To all the angels who dance upon the dew of the fallen.
