Just make me "okay"

By Deathkitten

Now I lay my soul to sleep
and to the demon, I've allowed to keep
my fierce, yet swollen eyes that weep
My eternal being
Every living lie
The secrets
that killed me to hide
All the wounds
that seem to never heal
and the scars that remain
after making a deal
I'm begging you; please
Let my mind be at ease
Let all the stories unfold
to sacrifice the truth I hold
I wish not to wake
and there's nothing at stake
These painful memories
are yours to take
Let the time be hourless
and free of sand
Please come here
to hold my hand
Lead me near
your darkest land
I promise everything
Just make me "okay"
