Kissed at the seal

By Deathkitten

A stare in use; the rod & reel
Conveying more than words ever will
A gentle caress of the electric eel
A heart warming & soothing feel
Where blood pressure rises until
there's no more time to kill
No stones to throw or cards to deal
A blank letter, inside envelope; kissed at the seal
In such nature; sending a shiver & chill
From the depths of forever & free will
Only noticing once I fray & frill

Going fishing myself this morning. Saw the electric eels on River Monsters last week, but this sounds to me like maybe electro-shock therapy slang? Catching just a hint of meaning from each line as the momentum picked me up and carried me along, what a rush! Thanks DK, one of your best!

You're onto me! Haha well....something like that. Definitely not a literal piece. I am glad you like it.

I love to fish! though, in all sincerity I would have a heart attack if I caught an eel! lol Awesome write! Sometimes when I read your work I am at loss for an appropriate adjective, so please forgive me if my comments seem trite and over used. :) I do truly believe you are too good not to be published!

No need to worry over words. I wish I could be published, however, I feel i'm not worthy of such (just yet). Thank you for the compliment!
