Simple madness
By dumbone
I fit pretty well
Into this land
The land of the shy
If I hadn’t only created it in my mind
I fit pretty well
On this surface
Between the land and the sky
Where I imagine
Where I paint the stars
I fit pretty well
On the bottom of an empty bottle
With a spear and rusty armor
Horseless
I search windmills to battle
A look under the brows
Is fading
As the world shrinks
I flee
...madness...

You're not going nuts, just getting older! Cheers Dum, a universal truth here, for me - well constructed.

Madness is a sanctum in many forms, for to be normal would cause the crazies to win, a battle from within... I like this piece. thanks.
