He said I tied ribbons to his heart...

By RibbonHeart

He came to me one night with shivers through the cold,
His hands they held too tight as he kissed around my soul.
Follow little soldier sprites for they may lead to you,
Come now pig let's dance tonight, let these fluids be imbued.

Fires burn the skin reaction,
Papers torn in two.
Ghosts may scare these blues away
But I still sleep in you.

He came and closed my eyes for me and placed his ribbon heart,
Upon my mouth so I could breathe his rapturous love apart.
The clouds descend upon the hill, he made me out of clay.
Unto my love her blood was spilled, I hear her to this day.

We ran together through the woods, my hair caught in the leaves.
He buried me with her that day, to try and get him clean.
Our screams did fill the empty space, the dirt filled up our nails.
To this day I hear her hurt, I dance her screaming wails.

Ribbon heart so soft and clean,
Tell me lies I can believe.
Let our child run wild and free,
I will let you smother me.

Ribbon heart your curse so cruel,
I will hide inside your walls.
Don't cry now, it's not your fault,
I took my life instead of yours.

...very dark, very gothic. it seems that a life was sacrificed for a child, but maybe I'm missing something...
