Phi.
By Dei
Can you hear it? Waves of sound filling veins and bones like marrow. Echoing
echoes
Echo in soul and heart. Exquisite rhythm drumming forever.
The universe is waiting, Come and be free.
Can you hear it? While we
stand cupping shells
to our ears
and making
phone calls
to the sea.
Can you see it?
The way everything just IS?
It spirals in and out and all around you. (Like I do)
The mirrored images of far off galaxies in
the flowers you crushed
With inexperienced hands. And seashells tossed away to drown in the
Tides because the mermaids didn't answer.
Can you feel this vibration holding it all together. This
Repetitous existence making every new experience
Feel as an old memory of the
Strangers we used to be.
Let's clasp wrists tight
And twirl 'round
Till either this
Makes sense or
We're just
too dizzy to care.

I like your letters picture! Also you have recognized that you not only create some imaginations & fantasies of different interpretations w/ in of lines, words & letters ... There are also other opportunities, through fragments to "draw" & to create reflections & phantoms of the imagination for the people w/ in the people ... for the readers w/ in the readers ... There are 5 lines in your superb work, which I like best: - "The mirrored images of far off galaxies in the flowers you crushed" - "Tides because the mermaids did not answer." - "Feel as an old memory of the" - "Strangers we used to be." & - "Let's clasp wrists tight" Absolutely beautiful & expressive! Well done! You can definitely be proud of yourself! I'd quite like to know if you have won the award w/ this poem! ? Yes or no? I'm still new here ... & therefore, I don't know anything how the individual pages of this website are built ...

very atmospheric, moody piece. supple imagery. well vocalized existentialism. I dig it.
