Alliance
By dumbone
You and I have created an alliance
You and I
My dear sky
I’ve promised to say I love you
Every morning as long as I shall live
And you promised you’ll be there
Every time I take a deep breath
Every time I feel lost
Or confused
Yes, alliance we have
You and I
We amuse each other
You play a game of colors and shade
And I show you how to mow down the lawn
Or how to eat an apple
You showed me how to cry
And after
You let the sun shine
Because there are a lot of reasons for sun to shine
Yes you showed me the most important lesson of them all
You showed me how to move on
Because we have an alliance
You and I

Such an alliance with nature is something I always longed for, to find it in a person, but all in vain.Fine work indeed I must say.Reminds me of Zen poetry, written by the ancient samurai.
