Pawns,Kings,and Me
By LOKI
The world is a masquerade
and they all have their masks
They
hide behind them everyday
So ordinary
So strange
Funny
how they look at me
like Im a peasant and obsolete
In their
eyes Im nothing
and I am weak
Yet they dare not
to test
my strength
Know your place
they say to me
Your just
a pawn
Amongst us kings
But Im no pawn
nor am I a king
Im what they fear
I am Me

Good for you not to let your environment etch away at who you are or to let anyone give you shit for that

I am me and you are you! Nice sense of rebillion. Refusing to be a "piece in everyones game" be you and be proud. More people should be this way! Love it ! Great piece

What! You dare to deny the superiority of the masterminds! The peasant gall that oozes from your base beating heart and minimal mind is pathetic - Loved this one LOKI, thanks!

A pawn among kings. I loved the concept of your work. This mind set has set the bar for socialism for decades. You are what we tell you to be because we are above you. A test of strength and fear of rebellion. A classic tale. Thanks for the read!
