Faithful Tendencies
By Deviated09
In the calm summer breeze with the sun shining brightly.
The whispers
of those that moved on still chiming softly.
The flutes playing in
perfect harmony and balance.
All is now well, a very long needed
golden moment.
To relax again seems so surreal, so dream-like.
May the Gods' peace hold, for this is bliss.
The serenity holding
onto me like the clouds in the sky.
I finally have my peace and tranquility
once more.
With the dove's feather drifting slowly to the
ground.
The voices of a thousand fallen heroes keeping it alive.
They talk of the memories they've had, the lives they've saved.
They
are the guardians looking after me in this time.
With clay
pan flutes and the beating of the drums.
The woman and child dance
around the fire, rejoicing again.
The father seeing the inner spirits
aglow.
The time to live what life brings has come, for now.
As life goes on, many changes will happen.
The strongest of the
souls run free and wild.
It is hardest to tame the unowned mustang.
For he is the ruler of his lands, no questions asked.
Oh,
Father, bless me with your honor and your strength
These lands are
now mine to rule over, as they were once yours.
My time has come
to follow in your footsteps as you instructed.
I'll bear the weight
of what ever it takes to keep you strong.
The wind's soft carress
against my face..
The tree's blessed shade for the children playing
here.
All is now right. All is now calm. The great circle has begun.
My children, these lands will one day be yours for the taking.
Author's Note:
It's a remade older work.. It means a lot to me.. I hope atleast one person can get the same value from this as I do. Side note, sorry if it is rough still.. Old and new works don't always splice just rightComments on "Faithful Tendencies"
