Enchantment

By Ladyhawke

Mountains talking to heaven
Valleys with drowned grass
The wind full of whispers
Carried of wings of glass

Floating through the air
Fairy wings land on your face
And rub sparkles on your skin
Creating a new magic place

With winds knocking the tide
Of believers unknown
Coaxing the seas calm
Bringing peace to bitter bones

Feeling the nights enchantment
Surrounded by beauty
Discovering a world untrue
Founded most trully

The wind carries petals
Fallen from absent dreams
Enlightened through the dark
Through the hurt and the screams

Dragging behind it precious gifts
Of life and love and hope
Smelling the sweet aroma
Of having to heal and having to cope
