Passion of the Alexis

By The Lioness Rampant

Passion of the Alexis

By: Alexis Manley

The burning of flesh from a lighter
The pounding of the heart with adrenalin

cutting with a razor blade
feeling the emptiness of sarrow

Killing my heart and my passion
Killing my soul held within

Softly he says "I'll never return"
And it killed me when he left
