The Lioness Rampant

By The Lioness Rampant

the lioness rampant
she will never give
up on her dreams
she will strive hard

the lioness inside me
will throw all her hatred aside
just to feel the freedom
of knowing that she is loved

the lioness is on the prowl
she hunts her adversaries
day after day to make herself
feel no more pain or foolishness

the lioness rampant
is me red hair like a flowing
mane of a lion in the setting sun
I will make and break my conquests

the lioness rampant
a beautiful woman that I have become
within all odds against me
I have succeeded in finding myself

I, the lioness rampant
will be immortal and will
forever be the one who stands
next to no one because I need no one

Shunned by all within my past
the lioness rampant shall forever be
the lioness I have held back
will know no boundaries once I am done

Domination over my fears shall be mine
The Lioness Rampant is who I am
inside and out I hunt by day
sleep by night and scurry away never

I will not scurry off with my tail betwixt my legs
I will not faulter or fail when I am on the prowl
I will suffer no more at the hands of man
I will live free and be happily on my own

I will stand on my own two feet
I will not live a lie or be defeated
no man shall come between me
and my happiness ever again

I am free with each step I take

The Lioness Rampant
the woman inside will never be defeated
