2 To Remember Me By

By Malcholm Dark

Hate Me

Hate me, so you may be true
Hate me, so you may be you
Hate me, I'm nothing but lies
Hate me and cut all the ties...

My darkness is unbound
I sacrificed the lamb.

I was arrested, charged and isolated
Remember my ways and why I'm so hated.

Bewitched

Bedazzled and bewitched
Be warned and be afraid
Bewildered and beguiled
Befriended then betrayed...

She's tied to an altar
This sacrificial lamb.

Remember me for I am the Yuletide
Winter Solstice, murder typified.

the poems are related and may seem they are not in order... In reality, the murderer is always caught first then you learn all the details later... If this doesn't seem clear let me know

Oh, Malcolm darling, always eloquent with an edge. Love it

  • A former member wrote: This truly amazing and terrific, the rendering of dark and even deceptive events is masterful. Thank you for your commendation

  • A former member wrote: murder, typified... haha nice.... the type of murder that ravishes in dwellings of diction and dire fiction.....like a magician who murders with murmurs... words of the alchemist that fly of the screen like so many winged monkeys ;) haha I did see a relation, I wasn't sure I could separate the two, even (I went looking among your works to see if there was another with 'remember me by', which I hope is not implying anything beyond the art).

This has got to be one of your darkest! Jack Nicholson comes to mind. Awesome piece!

I imagined observing the police questioning a killer, at first he's silent, then with a twisted grin he spills every gruesome detail. The evil seeping from every remorseless word, really presented some chilling thoughts. Write on. Scholar
