Painting Happiness

By scarletara

Look up at the sky. It clears the mind.
Remember to keep your face to the sunshine.
Keep your feet on the ground, while you reach for the stars.
How miserable or happy are you? The choice is all yours.
Serving others, growing, better to give...
Live and learn, but LIVE!
Be proud when wrinkles and laugh lines start.
Echoes of happiness, the songs in your heart.
Remember what we were. Let’s see what we can be.
A truly happy person looks outside to see...
How to make the world a better place.
Giving out smiles, reacting with grace.
Choose an attitude! Holdin’ your head up high!
Laughing and looking the world straight in the eye!
Stumbling blocks are stepping stones dressed in disguise.
So, tell me no more secrets and tell me no more lies!
Paint more happiness in the picture of your lives.
Lookin’ on the bright side!
Ridin’ on cloud nine...
Sittin’ on top of the world.
