I Have Marked You

By Malcholm Dark

Expect no mercy, I have marked you...

In this life you have strived to be diffident
You are like many, you are not that different.
Though only a few know who you really are
The end will explode like a shooting star.

I watch you, I feel you
To have you I must.
I need you to bleed you
Your murder, my lust.

Shadows of bedlam, so sad but true
Expect no mercy, I have marked you.

There's a fine line between destiny and fame
Tomorrow all the country shall know your name.
By that time nothing here will remain unchanged
For I have come--malevolent and deranged.

Soon I'll take you and I'll break you
My axe I shall wield.
To remember you is to dismember you
Pieced out in a field.

The axeman cometh, so sad but true
Expect no mercy, I have marked you.

Another fine piece, once you are marked there is no escape. You might as well just accept dismemberment, but hey at least you will become famous. Write on. Scholar

I enjoyed the steady flow of your poem, and as I read it, it made me think of those who I have marked for my own personal revenge. It was an awesome write.
