Leave me here.

By Dommi

I've become so lost these days
I've drifted way too far
I can't turn back to what I've known
So I started building in the dark

A heaven in the shadows
A new world just for me
They don't need to know of it
and I never have to leave

He led me out to nowhere
and I followed like a fool
He betrayed my trust, I made him leave
As the darkness slowly grew

It shrouded wounds so I could heal
I had no need for sight
Immersed in black, alone at last
Reborn into the night

There's no need to return
From the lost place I have found
I built my walls in lightlessness
In my madness I will drown
