life is a blank page

By BrokenAngel

she stared at the blank page
willing the words to appear
beneath her timid hand

pen to paper. no pencil, no regrets.
she began to write...
praying it would all end so beautifully

her scrawled words transforming
into a cautious design
tracing the details of her heart

these tentative ideas realizing their potential
and growing into strong convictions
the girl becoming more confident,
more beautiful with every penstroke

she crafted an image of the woman
she desired to be.
framed and hung on her bedroom wall...

she looks back and smiles.
knowing it ended so beautifully

My simple words seem to not be enough to do it justice. Please know that this was truly a remarkable piece though, in my humble opinion. --Draven
