She said "I do" with Revolver in hand
By A Life Without You
.
A view...
Only made available to wondering eyes
I hung your picture carefully in the closet-
Next to the black tuxedo,
...with the nickel size hole through the left chest pocket.
I appreciate the irony
you provided for this exhausting ride-
...Its been a crippling example,
...through a day-in-the-life of a picture perfect lie
An
...unfortunate first attempt
Your love laced lead gave you away,
When our lips became fixed-
...A finely pressed bullet riddled garment
...A reception that ends at the edge of a cliff
Arming myself with promises
I've failed to include
Only made available
to wondering eyes
...A view

Very visual, which is my fav. It's also a story largely untold as I find myself yearning for more. Great write. JD

there is a heaviness to this introspective depth that feels like drowning with someone's memories.. the genius of this piece is that it allows you to read it over and over again and be able to discover in yourself a variation of interpretation.

This was mesmerizing. So many visuals pushed into my skull. I enjoyed the structure you used, think it added a lot to the chaos. Nicely written and thank you for sharing.
