That day in the rain.

By boneplate

show me you love me….

she begged through the rain….

with a guilty hand and

 a fools heart.

I turned away.

awakened.

from a Carolish dream.

a new heart. beating

with new colors.

only to find

the winter winds.

had carried her away.

to another.

now I am living.

someone else’s life.

in someone else’s skin..

longing to be her pillow...

searching for her favorite line....

Show me you love me…

I beg through the rain………..

This wasn't overly complicated yet it relayed an intricate set of emotions. I enjoyed this very much.

This read with longing. The last 6 lines were honest and wrapped this up nicely. Interesting read.
