Weeping Willows
By Rowan
Solace captured in this degraded City of Woe,
hidden deep underneath
the shadowed Weeping Willows.
The misery of Angels as they're cast
down, they fall;
soothing music beyond words the suffering of all.
Abandon hope as dead spirits enter wailing sorrowful pleas,
endure the screams of forsaken souls with eyes that bleed.
Melt
the flesh of breaking bones in a fiery mass grave,
condemned by your
All-Mighty God, your soul to me enslaved.
Shunned from love
the consuming passion burning raw,
wicked sins shrouded by darkness
encased in cryptic flaws.
The reward for your ego in the flames corpse
bound,
dark clouds of smoke restricting breath as it surrounds.
Agony filled corridors and resonating echoes of pain,
the
crimson moon drips blood as the autumn life wanes.
Beg salvation to
reach her white hand out in civil grace,
silvery wings spread redemption
concealed in Trust's embrace.
Mercy for naught, a right reserved
for souls of worth,
a destiny denied you since your doomed first birth.
Fury and wrath torture the ashes of your broken heart,
on the black
wings of demons shattered faith departs.
Nightmares relished
by tongues made of putrid waste,
stripping flesh from limb for that
desired toxic taste.
Perversion of peace found in my beautiful City
of Woe,
where the evil dwells within the silent Weeping Willows.

Wicked write Rowan, such astonishing visuals you portrayed. I imagined a dark swamp where the wind made ghostly whispers through the willows, and an assortment of bones from people long forgotten, I know I'm a freak :P. "the crimson moon drips blood as the autumn life wanes." brilliant. thanks.
