Magnetic Beauty

By Wiccad

You are so bright and beautiful this night
Your light caresses everything in it's warmth
You bring in the tides on some distant shores
You stand alone amongst  the stars
For everyone to adore

Your luminescence is powerful and misunderstood
Your studious ways bring out the crazies they say
Surrounded by darkness and stll you shine
I want to keep you......and forever to be mine

I struggle to find the right words it seems
To describe your beauty, and to be heard
My darkness seems to swallow my light
I wish I were like you, and would always be bright

Even when you are just  a sliver
Your light..... it goes on forever
Mesmerizing all who gaze upon you
You are a God to some, depending on their view

But tonight,  you are my muse
And as I write this down, I feel a bit confused
Your battle with the darkness.........do you ever think you'll lose?
Like us humans with all of our faults......
And how our darkness cloaks our inner thoughts.
