I know that I'm broken
I really wish that I weren't
I know that you'd fix me
If I just gave you the chance

Is it really worth fighting for?
Am I really worth dying for?
Is it really worth all of your pain?

These questions dance before me like flames
And burn just as hot
What is it that guides our feet to the edge
Of our reality and begs for the fall?

Hold me as I plunge to the underworld
Caress me as the dark rushes past
Enslave me with the chains of regret
Kiss me as if this moment is our last

Because time might end as our love dies
Could I stand it if the light left our eyes?
As truth outweighs all of the lies
I wish I had the faith to set all of this right

It is your faith that binds
The light in your eyes is only there to blind
You could never see, The ghost inside of me
Can never free you from your chains
And will only feed upon your pain

This lovely bondage so sweet
It always brings me to my knees
There's no place I'd rather be
Than here, with you holding the leash

In my hands lie the ties that bind
An answer to your searching eyes
If at arms length you wish to stay
Then love me until the end of days

I wait here, At this moment of hesitation
Where I hope you may show some humanity
But then the moment ends
And I see reflected in your eyes
The true depths of our insanity
