Homage To The Art (unfinished & re-posted)
By T-Nothing
Serrated,
Gently scratching the surface of a frail entity.
Intending,
To breathe new life in where it is needed
desperately.
Awakening,
Unbeknownst to the beholder,
apparitions insisting on being discovered.
Welcoming,
With such warm and inviting intentions,
coated with gold... Dare
I mention.
...
Intervene, in one of your many shapes.
Molding, in to something anyone can relate.
(much like)
Scavenging the remains, "foraging" on who "they" are... truly,
Resurrecting from the ashes to be modeled, framed so beautifully.
Gifted, and hold a multilingual tongue that speaks so serene.
From a bone chilling nightmare, to the sweetest deepest dream.
(and all in between)
You transmit, what some fear to
cross their lips.
Relinquish the anxiety, and redirect it through
the fingertips.
I find you much more accepting, than some psychiatric
professional.
And much more spiritual, than some "religious holy-man"
confessional.
An angelic embodiment with eyes that can pierce
deep into ones soul,
and see everything so vividly, and what belongs
in that black, voided hole.
...
The sensation, as
I'm blessed with your presents, and drain your veins with my pen.
Or
let the echo of a chord ring out, and let out... what's deep beneath your
skin.
Poses me, and take control of my brush in hand.
Illuminate,
what they cannot seem to understand.
Grace any moment you choose,
to stand still in time.
Capture the immediate beauty, just as long
as (to you) it's prime.
...
"As long, as it's full
of heart
Regardless, how far apart
Weather its miles,
or oceans apart
We are all, bound together by Art."
Author's Note:
UNFINISHED! been plannin this one for a while and i wanted to write somethin that wasn't as tipical as the other 'homage art' poems i've seen, and this is as far as i got, and its not all that great but its good enough to not trash lolComments on "Homage To The Art (unfinished & re-posted)"

I loved it, such a deep interpretation of art. If this is the unfinished product, I can't imagine how good it will be.

Nicely done, a well written piece. The visuals and flow were perfect. The rhyme scheme went well also, thank-you.
