The death of human comprehension... or A lesson in Dramatics

By Imsosickxxx

Your delusions are trying
Bringing me to torrents bitter with remorse
And your hopes are broken
Ever fleeting dreams
Staggered in the darkest corners of your mind
Hidden in the shadows
Like skeletons in the closet
All the while, lay to rest, and never to exhume
And your phantoms are nothing more
Than martyred pacifists
Pessimistic and deteriorating
Rotting on the inside
Only shells of their former beings
Lacking that corpsical feeling and thrust into ethereal being
Like a shoebox filled with memories
Lost for years under dust and web
A coffin of sorts for remembrances so long forgotten
Their fragrances so long lost
Begging and pleading under lock and key
Once glimpsed to be relived
But you never were good at hello again’s
Only goodbye forever’s
Well ; isn’t that convenient…
