- I am a recently published author, though i have been writing poetry, short stories, and journals since i learned how. (about 3) Writing is the passion that burns inside me, the hope that one day what i write will impact someone hurting in this world is the only thing im drivin by.
Some people are born destined to struggle through life, and have nothing handed to them. I am one of those people. However rather than take that as an insult i took it as a challenge. I was born to a crack head in Fargo ND. She obviously didnt want me becuase she left me at the hospital. I was placed in several abusive foster families before i was adopted. I was adopted into an all white family with a white brother & one 1/2 black brother at age 6. Never grew up around black people , always made fun of for who i was or wasn't. I have been pushed off sidwalks, kicked, spit on, and nearly run over with a car for being black. I struggle to this day with Bi-polar, Obssesive Compulsive disorder, and I have been plagued with depression since i was 6 yrs old. Writing is the only escape you can always have with you even if you have nothing. (that works i feel)
Life is too short, to not learn from your mistakes
(i will always live by that)
I write to keep myself sane
I smoke to keep myself high
I cut to bleed out my pain
I breathe to keep myself alive
