self-destructive flirt

By SourInnocence

I call for you in gasping whispers,
I call for you in seductive cries,
Come closer to me, one more step.
Let me lean in and kiss your stale lips.

Nearly an inch from your kiss I laugh.
I turn from you with weak life,
I turn from you with a cocky spin,
And walk away as if I never knew you existed.

I come back to you repeatedly,
Never letting you take what we both want.
I tease us both with temptation.
And always leave unsatisfied.

I try and try to taste you,
But they never let me get close enough.
I’ll flirt with you until I can
Kiss, caress and embrace you death.
