And he will never abandon her

By BrokenAngel

out in the rain she stood
screaming.
crying for someone to heal her used
soul.
her sorrow pierced him like a
dagger.
he told her he would never cause her any
pain.
she seemed so lifeless in the violent
storm.
he gathered her into his
arms,
crushed her to his
body.
he swore his undying
love,
and promised to never leave
her.

So there they stand.
The statues in my garden.
