falling silent
By whisperer
meaning is lost on the over perceptive
i know.........truly, how to drive you away
hope is communication that forsook me long ago
truth is weakened upon those who don't and won't believe it
stare down the fire chain
on desire for me internal damnation and eternal resignation on me
my friend
a lifetime on the sideline aas the trees sing down upon an empty page shading
feather down
immortal soul searching in forever
the song begins with never and twilights smile ever passing me by
stare me over with logic again my friend
the situation is not here nor there
or anywhere
forest of silence, a bed of intoxicated sorrow and blind violence
you like it when i touch you
so now black is grey and white is blue
what steps in is gone from you
it never gets beyond until the sight is beyond the view
whatever snake that climbs the ladder falls to find it never matters
do you?
what will last a little longer now
the void satiates hunger
thirst for water drink the wine
exhalted steps echoe through a hall of statues built on tragidy and poisonous
deceit
set until the whole world dies at the hands of monsters veiled as trust
while i stand, vicarious at a distance waiting to die
as you do
at the hands of my self created vampire
onl then will the world , at a word, dance to the final beats of my halfways
heart
my last breath will be wasted laughing at the "angels" in the hearts of
man
i sold the devil his wings
i tied the puppets to their strings
bent like a tree by a war storm strong
burnt like a candle all night long
shined on forever torn right to wrong
and got what i expected all along
a silent voice
-you all may have pieces of my spirit. take it and gain. the time for me
to end is upon me. this dream is at an end.-
...and it's not just me

I found this intense as it was elusive. The words seem alluring, but in turn, slipped through my fingers.. you always leave me with my jaw hanging.
