Babylon sister

By molock

Babylon sister

come with me
to the edge of the
river...
so i can
kneel at you feet,
Babylon sister...

southern star,
a rams head...
have i gone too
far?
caught the devil,
...sleepin' in my
bed.

Babylon sister,
...have i been
forsaken?
who can i turn
to?
'cause my soul's
wearin' thin.
if i drink the water,
will i find salvation?
who's gonna catch
me?
....'cause i'm fallin'
again...

in a trance,
 i wandered in to
the lions den.
with the devil i
danced,
....then we feasted
on the lamb.

Babylon sister,
there is blood on
my hands...
who's gonna catch
me?
....'cause i'm fallin'
again.

southern star,
a rams head...
have i gone too
far?
....caught the devil
sleepin' in my bed.

Several "sisters" come to mind Mo, but your accompanying photo eliminates most of them my friend. Oh for those hanging gardens; with the Euphrates in spring flood. I can still hear them ululating in that fiery furnace. She looks like a keeper to me. Enjoy and cheers! - Dan
