Splinter

By molock

i can't sleep,
night turns to day.
for at least a week,
...I've been lyin' here
awake.

     Creep...

there's something takin'
root in my mind...
it won't leave me alone,
by some clever design,
it wants blood from a
stone...
takin' it's time,
inching it's way closer
to the danger zone.

      Creep...

a splinter,
deep inside...
fragmenting sanity,
navigating my demise....

      Creep....

i think I'm dreaming,
is the knife in too deep?
i hear someone screaming,
did i fall asleep?
why is my neck bleeding?
finally set free,

    Sleep.....

I agree with Kaiser, this has a song vibe to it. I love the way you tied all of it together with the "Creep...." and "Sleep...."
