love has fallen

By molock

i was your angel,

before my wings

were broken.

you never say " i

love you "

....sometimes

things are better

left unspoken

straight through

the heart,

i gave love away.

i flew to the stars,

but i was betrayed.

'cause of these

broken wings

i fell from grace

i was lonely,

i went to far.

i just needed someone

to hold me,

...cure this broken heart.

i used to fly where angels

sing,

now i'm bound to the

earth,

with these borken wings.

i flew to the heavens,

but i came back down.

once exalted,

love wore a crown.

now love has fallen,

like drops of rain,

to the ground.

sraight through the

heart,

i gave love away.

i flew to the stars,

love was betrayed.

cause of these broken

wings,

i fell from grace...

An enigmatic piece that takes a double read to figure out who is doing what to whom, Mo - and that's a good thing since it works both ways. There are worse things than broken wings...Cheers! - Dan

as always it's good to hear from you. I agree with your comment, I had 2 versions of this one then I took elements from each and made a third version, that's when it took on a life of it's own. you know I love hearing from ya, I value your insight and always enjoy your comments. cheers my friend Bret
