  • ""Funny how the empty walls feel wiser when you're gone." How melancholic and tragic, how sheer and ghostly unforgiving. There is too much here to say about my past, too much about anyone who could relate, so I will comment on the structure of the poem. It has great backbone and body. It is flitting and nightly, but there is purity here in the strength of words, memories, emotions re-lived. Re-loved. Deadly beautiful."

  • "I just wanted to say how much I absolutely adore this. You perfectly captured the unification of artist's soul and means of expression. This- this is how I feel when I drum (perhaps badly, also, ;) but I don't care...it feels good)."

  • "this is the cry of so many women, and the voice you gave it was that of an angel. the imagery while gorgeous, suffered its own heartache. beautifully penned! this made me ache."

  • "I don't know why we sometimes batter ourselves senseless on unforgiving shores...everquesting for a safe harbour...I got the sense of you perhaps striving to be something other than your nature when faced with one who doesn't appreciate your true essence... I love how you have framed these thoughts within such picturesque natural imagery , most effective for me ...thank you"

  • "the coat.... I mean, sure the whole is such an appropriate extension of the inspiration... but the coat... that smell of the father, how many ways to make that mean, was he protector or molester... how the words cover the page.. with guilt or with care... or both, the beauty of the figure, those aching shoulders, so much weight in this world. ... and the emptiness, without your emptiness.... that rings so clearly to me... where the vase is only able to receive if it's empty, and yet... what does that make the pen, if it relies on emptiness to be useful. Very thoughtfully wrought... with care and craft. *bows*"
