It seems you were inspired by a picture or a photo to write this...Well, as I read I thought first of the the chariot of the moon and the goddess bringing clarity and peace... But your poem suggests that contrary, a vile entity.. An entity that brings insanity to the earth. Maybe the lilac butterflies are people who try to break that thread to find freedom and transcendence (the octopus)... Would you reveal the mistery behind the octopus and the butterflies?
