Death Owls and Fanged Mice
By Dark Unicorn
Undying,unwanting,bleeding,seething
The molecules of ebony unchain my battered throat
As if no one alerted them of my black hate for breathing
And of my long-standing wish to ride on Death's sullen boat.
Writhing,cursing,weeping,praying
I hover on the spiked dust,my insides mangled
My scathing train to wells beyond,I have not kept from straying
Till now in its own seperntine wrath it has irrevocably entangled.
Death owls rain down from the misty heavens
Their cold, dead claws unscrew my eyebulbs into falling stars
So we dance the moon's waltz in millions and sevens
The galaxies and I,and the Universe and Mars.
And as I return from the voyage to my mind's celestial paradise
A thirsty vagrant,I drink from Pompeii's gigantic crater
I dream of the vengeful red fangs of her flaming mice
An all-knowing zephyr blooms,I pull down the sleeves of my sweater.
Fighting,screaming,forgotten,dying
I roll on the prairie of my lavender nail bed
And only now do I realise the shadows never were lying
Vanquished,silent,celebrated ...dead...

I freaking love the rhyme schemes you use! OMG!!! They don't sound forced, rather polished and professional. Great! ^_^
