Catatonic Coma
By Dark Unicorn
It creeps gently over me like an enchanted vine,
Trashing my blackened veins with its toxic spell,
Chaining thorns of skeletal nightmares around my spine,
And ensnaring my cryogenic soul in its paralysing shell.
Ribbons of knotted silk spread their ominous wrath,
Embroidering onto every muscle the sign of the silent,
Weaving myths of the unknown on every forgotten path,
Planting figments in my mind,so sweet yet so violent.
With a whiff of the undead, serenity elapses,
Injecting into my eyes a dread of acid hauntings,
Sketching strands of fuschia and of crescent relapses,
Caging my being with ropes of starless tauntings.
An eclipse of dewy smoke lays its kisses upon the dawn,
Only then does the venom slither down the realm of Oblivion,
Its ghostly breath dampened by the dream it has drawn,
And leaving behind tattooes of a ghoulish midnight cotillion.
