- "One of my favorite poems came to mind as I read this "Dulce et Decorum Est" I love this one as much as that one. Brilliantly done, you portrayed such emotion, the imagery is outstanding, wording falls perfectly into place... It is really quite a heartrending ending but very true. Great job on this one... - "I had a really close friend go to the army last year. He came back a month ago. I never cried so hard as when he left. I was lucky that time. About the same time said friend left, about a month later, another friend of mine left. It's been 11 months. No word.... This was close to home for me. "

- "A beautiful read. love the sadness. i can imagine this is indeed how a Holocaust victim must have felt. I like the way you repeated the "where is our lord" question, and then ending the poem with "where WAS our god", indicating the loss of hope, and the come of misery and mortal agony. I like how you write. this poem paints sadness as it goes on. true sadness, but unheard sadness. love it! :D"

- "Dazzling, yet breaks my heart... Damned war... Why can't the countries just cooperate with each other? If they did, so many good men, TRUE soldiers, would still be alive. It seems that true heroes are always murdered and crooken one get the rewards... Oh, I digress. A poem to cherish."
