Sandy Hook Tribute

By DeafSoldier

The little boy walked to school,
On a sunny, bright day,
The sky was blue and cool,
As he went to school.

He sat with his friends,
Chatting about their games,
Unaware of the danger, their end,
As the beautiful day went on.

The reaper walks in the building,
Slowly looming, impendig darkness,
As he walked down the hall,
The end is near, very near.

The lightning strikes,
As the boy feels dark and eerie,
Seeing the bright light, the loud noise,
The end is here.

As the reaper heard the sirens,
As he turned his scythe on him,
The reaper ran away, vanished a shroud,
On a sunny bright day.

Fitting, this tale of horror. No doubt the loss is still being felt to this day, as murders still set foot on the street as we speak in soft hushes. I wish them all a lifelong sentence in Hell.

...almost in the style of a Grimm fairy tale, & fitting that it brings such to mind...

I was trying to imitate the style since it involves little, innocent children
