  • "People call me a 'black metal hippie'...which is true. They can laugh at me all they want. They can call me whatever they want, yet i am both of these things...dark and light. i've gone into the woods and sat so long for so many days, hours and hours with the wilderness growing bold around me, until i reached this place of silence where i was no longer human...a place where i was everything. i've always tried to return to that place but it's so hard in this society...but this poem speaks to me of that and makes me long for it once again. Thank you."

  • "each read expands and clarifies what I can make from this ... it's like a formula , combining biology and science with inexplicable feelings , couched in creative imagery that cleverly flows through to that splendid last line ; creating an emotionally charged and vivid piece... yeah ... :)"

  • "It's all about the alliteration in this one. I feel this way a lot actually. Glad you were able to get the feelings on this page, as I know it can be difficult to share at times. Again, loved the alliteration."

  • "It hurts to read this, & I'm not sure why. I think overall indifference is unhealthy for artists, but maybe that's just my experience. I don't write (nor do I appreciate the beauty of color) when I feel indifferent to things. You always make me think & feel, simultaneously, & that is a hard effect to achieve. Thank you."
