  • "I have seen friends and family give thier lives over to one addiction or another and crack being the latest. I wish they would just stop, I miss them all "

  • "This was an extremely well written description of how it feels to have the monkey known as drug addiction on your back. Can definitely tell it was written by someone who has either experienced it themselves or been affected bu it. Thanks for sharing.--Draven"

  • "What a refreshing read. It's so wonderful when you work so hard to look back and realize what you've achieved, to find it's actually something. And now you are happy where you are. Wonderful. Good feelings emanated from this piece, put a smile on my face. Nice write."

  • "I am still with my husband but it has not been an easy ride. I know longer trust anyone, I don't have it in me anymore. Our relationship worked out, and we are now closer than ever, people sometimes make horrendis mistakes that mark the heart forever. It has been a long long road back, but since i have learned forgivness my life has changed in so many ways. But I will never forget, I love him now but i am not in love with him there is a difference, we work together like a team now, i think love is a usless emotion it has too much power over you. "

  • "I lost count of all the times I came close to doing that, but in the end I suppose what stopped me is the fact that I had no intention of dying like that, by my own hand. Thanks for the write."

  • "I want to add that many teens get to this point by hiding there feelings and intentions from thier loved ones. When a suicide happens the parents are usually in shock because they had know idea how thier child was feeling. They hide it with great care. If you see comments written in a diary about suicide please take them seriously. And to the teens who may be planning to commit suicide please look past the act to the hell that you will be throwing your loved ones in. many times I have had to stop my best friend in the world from joining her daughter, she has never been the same even 7yrs later she is a mess. The loss of a child is the greatest sorrow any parent will ever have to face. Blessed Be : kittykat"

  • "I wrote this poem in memory of my best friends 15yr. old daughter, she hung herself by jumping off a washing machine , she was bullied and tormented because of acne and was tired of her mother being addicted to crack, She was a good girl, I didn't see it coming with my tarot cards I thought it was the death of her uncle that I was seeing when I did her moms cards, she left a note in her diary but it was not taken seriously, it was thought to be a teen just letting off steam. More and more teens are committing suicide and the only way to stop it is to understand them and help them see that we all feel this way sometimes we just don't follow through. Depression has to be treated! blessed be: kittykatt"

  • "Very meaningful poem. I've heard about those who've killed themselves and others for this reason. It's very tragic. Although i do not think death is a resolution to anyone's problem. Because as commented by others it'l always be there. Realizing that none of it matters and there are higher expectations in life rather than clothing or materialistic friends. Who needs 'em newayz. Know you. Be you. Love you."

  • "There's a lot to relate to. You evoked a lot of images and thoughts from my angsty teenage years [and made me thankful to be rid of them]. This is some place where, despite what it seems, I think almost everyone has been. Everyone needs a friend in a world of enemies. The ending hit me a little by surprise, but you led up to it well. The structure at the end, for the lines "and/ you'll/ be/ dead" is appropriate. Nice write."

  • "These situations are arising more now than ever. The world will never be perfect and there will always be people with cruelty in their heart. I always look at bullies as people who want to be accepted but can only gain acceptance through negative means. Not only that but they're jealous of what you have. This was a nice write. I know the feeling."

  • "This happens all to often...cruelty of the "elite" though as you are stating they reap what they sew... Kindness seems a rarity these days, thank you for bringing the plight of those who suffer into the light. Nicely written with a clear message."

  • "There are only a handful of things in this world I can honestly say I love with a passion - animals being at the top of that list. Things like this make me sick to my stomach and it's always refreshing to know that others feel the same."

  • "I do empathize. However, I have no idea whatsoever how hard it must be for someone who has a child in the equation. Having to be civil for the sake of another does not aid in healing...possibly makes it harder. Your writing has an ending that can be translated different ways. Either the relationship worked out over time and the past made the bond stronger because you survived it...or...it was only you coming out stronger and realizing you could continue on and find a new life and relationship where you would not be "had or feel that lost" again. Either way...sounds like you are the victor. I enjoyed your writing."
