Satan's Drug

By Kittykat

Satan was in the room tonight
I could feel him stain the air
As a crack pipe was passed around
The sorrow I could not bare

When my friend took that pipe
Put it to her lips
Nothing I could do or say
Would make her miss the trip

The room filled up with poison
I couldn't catch my breath
So many lost ones all around me
Do they know they seek their death

The scene moved in slow motion
As my friend began to shake
She hit the floor convulsing
With fear upon her face

I dropped to my knees to help her
But nobody seemed to care
I held her head in my lap
While others faught over her share

As I placed her in the ground
I hung my head and cried
Satan's won another round
Another friend has died
