Lenora's Tears

By Kittykat

I see you, the real you,
the one who's given to all,
those who are in trouble
turn to you,
and you offer your hands
to help them.

You've walked through a storm,
nights alone and torn,
all of your children
you'd give them millions,
if you had it to give.

But you were born into this evil world
that makes us cry,
with so much pain under god,
children that you raised
turn their backs on you, still you pray for them.
One day they will learn the tables always turn
and they will feel your pain.

I remember you
on those summer days
back when your dreams mattered,
and your heart was still open.
When your baby boy closed his eyes forever
to watch you hurt should be a sin,
I know your just wasting time now
until you can be with him.

How can I make you see
life's lessons aren't meant to be easy,
saying good buy to those you love
is the hardest lesson sent from above.
On the day the new world begins
all those you love will be united again.

So dry your eyes,
I hate to see you cry,
and always hold your head up high.

Look into the mirror and see
what I see, you are wonderful,
you are beautiful, and please believe
this life is spiritual.
 All that we go through
is part of a bigger plan
and it's all in,
Gods hands...
